Lincoln and his Thanksgiving gratitude

Just like the Pilgrims, Lincoln had seen hard times and wanted to express his gratitude to the Lord for providing relief. He concluded by designating the last Thursday of November as a national day of Thanksgiving in the US.For the people in US Thanksgiving is a time for merrymaking, shopping, family reunion, feasts and and especially family dinners.
